Privacy Policy

Last Updated: June 25, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Browslium LLC ("Browslium," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, processes, stores, and protects information when users, families, organizations, administrators, or managed-device customers use the Browslium application, website, browser extensions, content-filtering services, device-management features, support services, and related products.

Browslium is designed to provide content filtering, device protection, policy enforcement, and administrative controls for authorized users, families, organizations, schools, businesses, and other customers. Browslium is not designed for covert surveillance, unauthorized monitoring, advertising tracking, or the sale of personal information.

1. Data Controller

The data controller for Browslium is:

Browslium LLC
Email: support@browslium.com
Website: https://browslium.com

If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or wish to exercise privacy rights, contact us at the email address above.

2. Purpose of Browslium

Browslium provides content-filtering and device-management tools that may be used by individual users, parents or legal guardians, schools or educational institutions, businesses or organizations, and administrators managing devices with proper authority.

Browslium may help users and administrators configure rules, restrict access to certain content, allow approved content, manage filtering levels, review filtering events, and apply device or content policies on authorized devices.

Where Browslium is used with mobile device management or supervised device features, such use must be performed only by an authorized person or organization with the legal right to manage the device.

3. Information We May Collect

Depending on the features used, account type, device configuration, user permissions, and administrative settings, Browslium may collect or process the following categories of information.

3.1 Account and Contact Information

We may collect name, email address, phone number, account username or user ID, authentication information, account role, and organization, school, business, or group name if applicable. We use this information to create accounts, authenticate users, provide support, manage subscriptions, and administer the service.

3.2 Subscription, Purchase, and Billing Information

If Browslium offers paid services, purchases, or subscriptions, we may collect or receive subscription status, plan type, purchase date, renewal date, expiration date, transaction identifiers, receipt information, billing country or region, and limited purchase history.

If purchases are made through the Apple App Store, Apple processes payment information directly. In that case, Browslium does not receive the full credit card number, card security code, or bank credentials.

If Browslium later offers payments outside the App Store through a third-party payment processor, that processor may collect payment card information, billing address, or other information necessary to process payment. Browslium does not intend to store full payment card numbers unless expressly stated and handled according to applicable law and payment security requirements.

3.3 Device and Technical Information

We may collect technical information necessary to operate content filtering, account security, diagnostics, and device-management features, including device type, operating system, operating system version, app version, device enrollment status, supervision or management status where applicable, device identifiers or installation identifiers, language and region settings, time zone, network or connectivity status, extension or permission status, diagnostic logs, crash reports, security and compliance status, and information needed to apply configuration profiles, restrictions, or filtering rules.

We use this information to operate the service, diagnose issues, enforce policies, improve reliability, and maintain security.

3.4 Managed Device Information

When Browslium is used for device management or in connection with a mobile device management environment, we may process information related to managed devices, including device name, device model, serial number or other device identifiers where available and permitted, operating system version, management enrollment status, installed configuration profiles, managed apps or app installation status, compliance status, policy status, restrictions applied to the device, security settings, device commands requested by an authorized administrator, and device activity related to policy enforcement.

This information is used only to provide authorized device management, content filtering, policy enforcement, security, support, and compliance functions. Browslium does not use managed-device information for third-party advertising or behavioral advertising.

3.5 Browsing, URL, and Domain Information

To provide content filtering, Browslium may process information related to web requests and digital content, including URLs, domains, subdomains, website categories, page titles or metadata, browser or app context where technically available, date and time of a filtering event, whether content was allowed, blocked, hidden, muted, replaced, reviewed, or approved, filtering rule applied, allow lists, block lists, temporary approvals, administrator approvals, and user requests for access.

This information is used to determine whether content should be allowed, blocked, modified, reviewed, or logged according to the rules configured by the user or authorized administrator.

3.6 Content Processed for Filtering

Browslium may process digital content when necessary to provide filtering and safety features. Depending on enabled features, this may include webpage text, page metadata, URLs, images, thumbnails, video frames or video metadata, audio clips or audio metadata, speech-to-text transcriptions, file names, file types, download metadata, document metadata, embedded web content, and content classification results.

Browslium processes this content only for purposes such as classification, filtering, rule enforcement, safety decisions, administrative review, diagnostics, and improving service reliability. Browslium does not use content processed for filtering to sell personal information or to create third-party advertising profiles.

3.7 Filtering Rules and Administrative Settings

We may collect and store filtering levels, content rules, website rules, app rules, download rules, audio, video, image, and text filtering settings, allow lists, block lists, approval requests, approval decisions, temporary access permissions, user groups, device groups, administrator settings, and audit records related to policy changes. These settings are necessary to provide consistent filtering and device-management behavior across accounts and devices.

3.8 Support and Communications

When you contact Browslium, we may collect name, email address, phone number, message content, support history, screenshots or files you choose to provide, diagnostic information, app version, device information, and error reports. We use this information to respond to support requests, troubleshoot issues, improve the service, and maintain account security.

3.9 Diagnostics and Usage Information

We may collect diagnostic and operational data, including crash logs, performance data, error reports, feature usage, sync status, security events, failed connection events, permission errors, installation issues, and policy enforcement events. We use this information to maintain, secure, troubleshoot, and improve Browslium.

4. How We Use Information

Browslium uses information to provide content filtering; enforce user, family, school, business, or organizational rules; administer authorized managed devices; apply restrictions, configuration settings, and security policies; authenticate users and administrators; manage accounts, subscriptions, and purchases; process support requests; diagnose errors and improve reliability; detect abuse, tampering, unauthorized access, or attempts to bypass protection; synchronize settings across authorized devices; provide audit records to authorized administrators; and comply with legal, regulatory, security, and contractual obligations.

5. Mobile Device Management and Administrative Use

Browslium may support mobile device management, supervised device management, or related administrative features.

When used in a managed environment, the organization, school, business, parent, guardian, or administrator deploying Browslium is responsible for ensuring that it has proper authority to manage the device; users are informed as required by applicable law; deployment is lawful and appropriate; policies are configured according to the intended use; and personal devices are not managed beyond the level permitted by the applicable enrollment method and user consent.

Browslium may allow authorized administrators to apply restrictions, configure filtering rules, review policy status, receive filtering reports, and manage approved devices. Browslium does not grant administrators unlimited access to a user's private personal data. The available information depends on the device ownership model, enrollment method, operating system, permissions, and configuration.

6. Artificial Intelligence and Automated Processing

Browslium may use automated systems, classification models, machine learning, or artificial intelligence to analyze content and determine whether it should be allowed, blocked, hidden, muted, replaced, or reviewed.

This processing may occur locally on the device, on Browslium servers, or through trusted third-party service providers. When third-party providers are used, Browslium seeks to limit the information shared to what is necessary for filtering, safety analysis, diagnostics, and service operation.

Automated filtering decisions may be based on content categories, rule settings, risk signals, administrator policies, and user-configured preferences.

7. Data Sharing

Browslium may share information with cloud hosting providers, infrastructure providers, security service providers, artificial intelligence or content-classification providers, analytics and diagnostics providers used for service reliability, payment processors, customer support providers, Apple or other platform providers where necessary for app distribution, subscriptions, device management, or platform compliance, legal authorities when required by law, and successors or affiliates in connection with a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or sale of the business.

Browslium does not sell personal information. Browslium does not share personal information with third parties for cross-app advertising tracking.

8. Tracking and Advertising

Browslium is not designed to track users across third-party apps or websites for advertising purposes. Browslium does not sell user data to advertisers and does not use filtering data to build third-party advertising profiles.

If Browslium ever introduces advertising, analytics, or tracking features materially different from those described in this Privacy Policy, this Privacy Policy will be updated and any required user permissions or disclosures will be provided.

9. Sensitive Information

Browslium is not designed to intentionally collect sensitive personal information such as religion, health information, political opinions, sexual orientation, biometric information, or precise personal characteristics.

However, because Browslium may analyze webpages, images, text, audio, video, documents, URLs, or other digital content for filtering purposes, sensitive information may be processed incidentally if it appears in content being filtered. In such cases, the information is processed only to provide filtering, safety, security, policy enforcement, diagnostics, or authorized administrative functions.

10. Children and Minors

Browslium may be used by parents, legal guardians, schools, or organizations to help protect devices used by minors. When Browslium is configured for a minor, the parent, legal guardian, school, organization, or authorized administrator is responsible for ensuring that the service is deployed lawfully and with all required permissions or notices.

Browslium may process filtering events, device information, URLs, content classifications, rules, approval requests, and administrative settings necessary to provide protection and policy enforcement.

11. Data Retention

Browslium retains information only for as long as necessary to provide the service; maintain accounts; enforce filtering rules; synchronize settings; provide administrative records; troubleshoot problems; prevent abuse or unauthorized bypassing; comply with legal, tax, security, or contractual obligations; resolve disputes; and maintain service integrity.

Filtering logs, device-management records, diagnostic data, and policy audit records may be retained for the period necessary to operate Browslium and provide authorized administrative, security, and support functions. When information is no longer needed, it will be deleted, anonymized, or retained only where legally or operationally necessary.

12. Security

Browslium uses reasonable technical, administrative, and organizational safeguards to protect information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, loss, or misuse. These safeguards may include authentication controls, access controls, encryption where appropriate, logging and monitoring, administrative permission separation, secure infrastructure practices, and internal restrictions on access to personal information.

No system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Browslium works to protect information using reasonable safeguards appropriate to the nature of the service.

13. International Processing

Browslium may process and store information in countries other than the user's country of residence. Where international transfers occur, Browslium seeks to protect information according to this Privacy Policy and applicable legal requirements.

14. User Rights and Privacy Requests

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access personal information; correct inaccurate information; request deletion; restrict processing; object to certain processing; request data portability; withdraw consent where processing is based on consent; and request information about how your data is used or shared.

To submit a privacy request, contact support@browslium.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding to a request. If your account or device is managed by a school, business, organization, parent, guardian, or administrator, certain requests may need to be directed to that administrator.

15. Account Deletion

You may request deletion of your Browslium account by contacting support@browslium.com.

Deletion may remove or disable personal information associated with the account, except where Browslium must retain information for legal, security, fraud prevention, billing, contractual, compliance, or dispute-resolution purposes. For organization-managed accounts, deletion may require approval or action by the organization administrator.

16. Third-Party Services

Browslium may interact with third-party services, including platform providers, payment processors, infrastructure providers, content-classification providers, artificial intelligence providers, or support tools. Third-party services may process information according to their own privacy policies and contractual obligations. Browslium seeks to use third-party providers that are appropriate for the service and to limit data sharing to what is necessary.

17. Legal Compliance

Browslium may process or disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law; respond to lawful requests; enforce terms and policies; protect users, administrators, organizations, or the public; detect fraud, abuse, security incidents, or unauthorized access; and protect the rights, property, or safety of Browslium.

18. Changes to This Privacy Policy

Browslium may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we may notify users by email, in-app notice, website notice, or another reasonable method. The "Last Updated" date above indicates the current version.
